Tuesday evening full band rehearsals start THIS WEEK, in preparation for the Central Mississippi and MAIS Concert Band Festivals. These evening rehearsals are very important for the band's preparation. Please mark your calendars to ensure your student will be at these three rehearsals.
Here is the schedule for this week:
TUESDAY - FULL BAND REHEARSAL in the PAC - 6:30 - 8:00
WEDNESDAY - Clarinet Sectional - 3:00 - 3:45
FRIDAY - The JA Concert Band has been invited to perform at the Mississippi Music Educators Association Conference, a gathering of music teachers from public and private schools around the state.
Schedule for FRIDAY:
- Students bring concert black attire to the band hall before school
- END OF THIRD PERIOD - Students dismissed from class, report to band hall to change
- 11:15 - Depart JA via school bus - fast food lunch stop (bring $$)
There will also be evening rehearsals for the full band on March 27 and April 3 - 6:30 - 8:00.

- 1:00 - Concert Band performance in the Winston Room at the Jackson Marriott downtown - Parents welcome
- 2:30 (approximate) - Arrive back at JA
There will also be evening rehearsals for the full band on March 27 and April 3 - 6:30 - 8:00.
CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI CONCERT FESTIVAL
The Concert Band will again perform at the Central MS Concert Festival at Ridgeland HS on Thursday, March 29, in the afternoon or evening. Further details are TBA.

8:15 - Guard Retreat
