They will be excused from their regular classes at the end of second period to report to the band hall. The band will rehearse, eat lunch, and change into concert attire before their warmup time.

The members of the JA SIXTH GRADE BAND will be assisting at the festival on Thursday, serving as guides for the visiting bands, judge score runners, room set-up helpers, and in other productive roles. Cammie will be coordinating the students' activities, and we will ensure they have lunch. Mrs. Love has discussed the students' participation with the sixth grade teachers, and they all agree it will be a valuable experience for the students. Sixth Grade Band members will be dismissed from class to report to the Band Hall at 8:30 on Thursday morning, and they will help throughout the school day. They should wear the black MAIS Clinic t-shirts they were given. We have a few extras if needed.
