BUSY FRIDAY FOR THE JA BAND

This past Friday found the JA Band members busy on campus. In the morning, the drumline and guard participated at the Seniors v. Faculty basketball game, played in honor of Scott Branning.

SPRING SCHEDULE UPDATE

There will not be a JA Band Program Spring Concert on May 8. Instead, to lighten the burden on our busy families' schedules, the JA Jazz Band and the Sixth Grade Band will perform at the Band Banquet, May 17 at the Mississippi Museum of Art.

We hope all of our band families are able to attend the concert and banquet, at which all JA Band members, sixth through twelfth grades, will be recognized for their efforts this year.

Banquet tickets are $25 per person, and payment deadline is April 26. If you have any questions, contact banquet coordinator Hope Burford at hburford@jacksonacademy.org.
