CONCERT BAND

Congrats to the JA Concert Band for achieving a superior rating from the judges for their performance at the Central Mississippi Concert Band Festival at Ridgeland HS last week.

Here is the concert band schedule for this week:

TUESDAY, March 26 - Rehearsal 7:00 - 8:30 - PAC

THURSDAY, March 28 - MAIS Concert Band Festival at the PAC

9:30 - Starkville Academy
10:00 - Jackson Prep
10:30 - Lamar Christian School
11:00 - Copiah Academy
12:30 - Hillcrest Christian School
1:00 - Washington School
1:30 - Pillow Academy
2:00 - Jackson Academy


Families and friends are invited to the performances on Thursday. Students should bring their concert black attire to school in the morning.

WINTER GUARD

Best of luck to the JA Winter Guard as they enter the final two weeks of their season. The remaining schedule:

SUNDAY, March 31 - No rehearsal, Happy Easter

WEDNESDAY, April 3 - Rehearsal 3:30 - 6:30

SATURDAY, April 6 - MIA Championships
11:00 - 2:00 - Rehearse at JA
2:30 - Depart for Itawamba CC
7:30 - Warmup
8:10 - PERFORMANCE TIME
