CONCERT BAND

Congratulations to the JA Concert Band for an outstanding performance at the MAIS Concert Band Festival on Thursday. The band received straight superior ratings in all captions from all four judges. David Willson, Director of Bands at Ole Miss, commented, "Super performance! It was an honor to hear this band today. What a tremendous credit to this school and community."

We also received kudos to the band for their performance via email.

From JA President Peter Jernberg:

A heart felt congratulations to our JA Concert Band on continuing our rich tradition of all superiors. The concert performance was again a performance of exceptional excellence which reflected the talents of our students, as well as the excellence of our band program. I truly had chill bumps during the entire concert.

From JA Tech Center Administrator Charlie Patton:

I heard the band's performance at the competition today.  It was really spectacular.  It's rare to find a high school band with such a high degree of technical and musical skill.  Congratulations to the band for an inspiring performance!
